Everytime I come to the sea, I'm first of all overwhelmed of all by the smell of the sea. The air is full of elements and one can feel the presence of the sea, even still without seeing it. As Napoleon said about his Corsica, he could recognise it only by smell. Then there is the first approach to the beach, where the perception of its flora gives a further sensation. I love places at the sea with emptiness which help to amplify and concentrate on the sensations it gives.
